its ok
"hi im not totally thrilled with my new herschel wallet to be honest. . . . . . my old herschel wallet i had for about 10 years just broke down and i loved it but the pockets seemed big enough to hold more than one card, whereas this new one is very tight if you want to try and fit 2 cards in each slot. also the leather does not seem as good as my last one."

Bad
"I have been using this cardholder for 6 months and the interior lining has started to seperate. I don't think it is a quality product."

Quality Is Terrible Now
"I bought this same Charlie wallet in 2019 and it was such high quality soft leather. Loved the wallet! I bought the same leather wallet in brown recently and you can see how cheaply made they are now. The leather is very tough, it feels like fake leather, the stitching is shoddy.. zero redeeming quality’s about this wallet. (I wish I could upload the photo I took)"

New Charlie Leather Wallet design not as good as previous model
"This new version of the Charlie leather wallet did not meet my expectations. I owned the previous version for years and unfortunately needed a replacement after losing it. The previous model used a nubuck leather that gave a nice patina, had stitched edges, and had the red and white striped lining. The new model uses pigmented leather, so no patina possible, painted edges, which are more likely to wear down, and a plain black interior lining. The previous model was perfect, and I've been hard pressed to find a wallet with similar details. It seems Herschel has done away with the red and white stripes in their products and overall opted for cheaper to manufacture products, and raised prices. $30 in 2017 and $45 in 2024. I'd happily pay double the current price for that old version. I returned the wallet."
